At a Rotary luncheon honoring Weems, he met with Potsdam Rotarians and was commended for his academic excellence by Seaway Tech instructor Jobie McCarthy.
“Ian is a very hard-working student,” said McCarthy. “He has great attendance and consistent work habits. He is reliable and gets along well with adults and his peers. He is a student leader and represents the program as needed”.
Weems plans on pursuing the field of digital media design when he completes the program at the end of this school year.
