Lowell Warner of Colton was installed as the 2011-2012 president of the Rotary Club of Potsdam at its annual dinner meeting on June 29.

 

Rotary District 7040 2010-2011 District Governor Katie Burke performed the ceremony, during which Maureen Farina was recognized as incoming president-elect and Neal Zirn as outgoing president.

 

Warner graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central High School and holds a B.A. in economics from SUNY Potsdam and an M.B.A. from Clarkson University.

 

He is the president and owner of Gulf Management LLC and Safe Lock Storage LLC in Potsdam, and also sits on the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Foundation Board.

 

He lives in Colton with his fiancée Lisa, who is an elementary school art teacher. They enjoy golf in the summer and are avid supporters of Clarkson Golden Knights Hockey.

 

The Potsdam Rotary Club meets each Wednesday at noon at Ponderosa in Potsdam. Guests are welcome.
