The ticket deadline is approaching for our benefit Food & Wine Tasting on Friday, November 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Clarkson University's Cheel Campus Center. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, November 6.

Clarkson Campus Dining, the sponsor of the fundraiser, has completed the food menu for the event.

 
Appetizers will include an artisan cheese display with assorted breads and spreads, an exotic fruit display, California rolls, prosciutto and melon, baby mozzarella and teardrop tomato skewers with pesto drizzle, and vegetable spring rolls with chipotle hummus.

Lunch tastings will be a fire-grilled seasonal vegetable display with saffron aioli, Thai shrimp salad with Bibb lettuce and rice noodles, grilled chicken salad with Roquefort and walnuts, and smoked salmon with goat cheese crisps and baby greens.

A butcher's board deli display will feature assorted California wraps, chicken salad Veronique on a buttery croissant, smoked turkey and brie with apple chutney on ciabatta, and heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella with pesto mayo.

The dinner buffet area will offer cod Franchaise with steamed asparagus, seared beef medallions with risotto cakes and gorgonzola sauce, almond crusted chicken with bourbon sweet potatoes and cranberry compote, mustard crusted pork loin with roasted butternut squash, and Asiago cheese tortellini with pomodoro pink sauce.

Guests will finish the evening with a grande dessert buffet sampler, a seasonal display of one bite wonders, and fresh brewed flavored coffees.

And, of course, tastes of a selection of fine wines will also be offered.

Musical entertainment will be provided by A Fine Line. The fundraiser will benefit ShelterBox USA, which provides victims of disaster with shelter.
