Debora Moschell of Potsdam was installed as the 2009-2010 president of the Rotary Club of Potsdam at the club's annual dinner meeting in June. Rotary District 7040 2009-2010 District Governor Arnold Lawrence performed the ceremony, during which Duane Pelkey was also recognized as the outgoing president.
 
Moschell, finance manager at Penski Inc. in Potsdam, joined the Potsdam Rotary Club in 2005, and has served on its board for two years.

A native of Star Lake, Moschell graduated from Potsdam Central School, SUNY Canton and Clarkson University, with a degree in accounting.

She served in the U.S. Navy from 1988-1992 and is a veteran of the first Gulf War.

Moschell owned and operated a daycare business in southern California from 1992-1996, and then returned to Potsdam in 1996 when she joined Penski Inc. as accounting manager.

She serves on the board of directors of the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and is an alumna of the St. Lawrence Leadership Institute. She is also a member of the American Payroll Association.

Moschell resides in Potsdam with her two sons, Aaron and James.

The Potsdam Rotary Club meets each Wednesday at noon at the Sandstone Grill in Potsdam. Guests are welcome.
