Lori Loffler, cash management sales officer at Community Bank, N.A., in Potsdam, was recently inducted into the Rotary Club of Potsdam.

Besides the three years she spent in North Carolina with her husband while he was in the Marine Corps, she has always lived in the North Country, in her hometown of Massena. Along with her husband and teenage son, she enjoys the outdoors and the different "opportunities" the four seasons provide.

After graduating from Massena Central High School, she attended SUNY Potsdam for art, and later attended Clarkson University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business and accounting. As a part of her education experience at Clarkson, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Her present career in banking began in July of 2000 at Community Bank, N.A. After 8-1/2 years as a unit manager in Deposit Operations, she moved to the "other" side of banking as a cash management sales officer. With her new position, she enjoys working with customers and the opportunity to meet so many interesting people.

Lori says that looks forward to working with the community and being a part of all of the rewarding experiences being a Rotarian will provide. In addition, she says that after seeing how caring, motivated and "special" Rotarians are, she is proud to be a member of the Potsdam Rotary Club.
