Christa Carroll of Potsdam was inducted as the newest member of the Rotary Club of Potsdam at its Wednesday, November 12, meeting.
 
Carroll has lived in the North Country for over 14 years and has resided in Potsdam for eight years. A native of Indianapolis and a proud recipient of a public education, she received her B.A. from Indiana University and her M.A. from Clemson University.

Since May of 2004, she has been the director of The Fund for Potsdam at SUNY Potsdam, a position that reaches out to all constituents of the College to seek support for the College's students and programs.

In her first position at SUNY Potsdam, from 1999-2004, she managed SUNY Potsdam's web site. From 1996-1999, she taught in the Technical Communications department at Clarkson University as an adjunct instructor.
